Private Debt – Presentation
The LFPI Group developed the private debt activity in 2007. Since then, he has arranged transactions for an amount of more than 1 billion euros. In total, more than 200 investments have been made, with the aim of great sectoral and geographic diversification. Knowledge of the Private Equity players within the group and the network of banking relationships in Europe allow access to most transactions on the market. The selection made by the teams is rigorous, and all the investments that have been the subject of an exit generated an average IRR of over 12%.
To date, the LFPI Group continues to strengthen its position on the European debt market.
The team is made up of professionals in the field of debt and LBO financing. It has multidisciplinary, resolutely European skills with professionals based in Paris, Geneva and Frankfurt, who, as in all of the group's other businesses, carry out continuous monitoring work on the assets in the portfolio.
Private Debt – Target
The LFPI Group finances medium-sized industrial and service companies in France, Germany and the rest of Europe. He favors companies with a history of stable profitability and resilient in times of economic crisis, with a strong management team and with a clear strategic vision.
The LFPI Group operates on the primary issues market, but also on the secondary market, making the most of market opportunities. Its skills cover the senior debt market (including bridge loans, unitranches), the junior debt market (mezzanine, high-yield, etc.), as well as that of non-performing assets.
Private Debt – Strategy
Taking advantage of the reduction in the size of bank balance sheets and the resulting disintermediation movement, the LFPI Group is aimed at companies wishing to benefit from tailor-made financing. The high level of demand and the significant drop in the levers put in place are all assets for achieving high performance.
The LFPI Group is positioned on the debt market as a player with a defensive strategy, a low level of risk and an annual return.
